On 13 August this site described the leaked maintenance records as single-sourced to Kaieteur News. That was wrong within a day of being written. HGPTV reports it obtained the records independently, and two further outlets did the same — see the News Source Guyana and Village Voice records of 12 August. Four outlets, four separate accounts, substantially matching specifics.

• **28 November 2025**: the main shore-to-generator changeover panel suffered a total blackout at Port Kaituma, internal wiring \"completely burnt out\". This date and this defect do not appear in the Kaieteur account — the two reports overlap but are not copies of one another.
• HGPTV frames the open question as which defects were repaired before the final voyage, and whether unrepaired failures in power and pumping contributed to the capsizing. **It does not assert that they did.** Neither does this archive.
• **[FIGURES DISPUTED]** HGPTV gives approximately **179 aboard, 73 bodies recovered, 69 positively identified**.
